I would like to welcome everyone to the Métis Nation of Alberta – Region 3’s new website.

Region 3 Consultation Coordinator
Nicole Shepherd, is the Métis Nation of Alberta (MNA) Region 3 Consultation Coordinator and the first point of contact for projects that may have an impact on the Métis community within the MNA Region 3 area. Consultation is a formal
legal process of the Crown’s requirements and the “duty to consult”. This assists Industry (proponents) to work with our community in order to determine and protect our traditional, cultural and ecological sites which helps us
to maintain our quality of life.
